What they showed at not-E3 was a good start. Microsoft still needs to deliver as a first party studio and the acquisition will not immediate impact the culture and quality control of Microsoft first party studios. Microsoft will get revenue from King and Blizzard sales but honestly, if you're not a Microsoft investor, who gives a shit? The COD machine churns out a lot of money but there's a reason Bobby had all of these studios working on the franchise. I think the idea of Activision studios working on all these Microsoft and Activision IPs is a far off fantasy. Which is a good thing for Xbox consumers don't get me wrong but beyond that I think Activision will still largely work as it has been doing.

The most immediate thing is the potential for Activision games to appear on Game Pass.

I think in the short term and over the next few years, I think post-acquisition will largely be status quo.
